Arthropods Sample Collection

In 2025, Arthropods (insects and spiders) were collected 3-4 times before treatments were applied to the cutblocks and once post-treatment.  Sampling locations included sites in the cutblock, in the forest, and along the edge between the two.  About 1500 traps were set this summer, for both pollinators and ground dwelling predators.  This research is part of Leah Swanson's MSc thesis, under the supervision of Dr. Dezene Huber.
