Most of our sample analyses will be conducted by students working specifically on this aspect of the project.  After samples are collected through fieldwork, they will be organized by the students responsible for each sub-project, then sent to the appropriate labs for analysis.  Watch the video below to learn more about the Microbiome analyses that will be performed.  Madeline Frazer is a MSc student at the University of British Columbia Okanagan, working under the supervision of Dr. Deanna Gibson and Dr. Laura Grieneisen.
