Acoustic monitors were set up in select cutblocks, to track changes in birdsong before and after treatments, as well as to compare between treated and untreated sites.  This will allow us to understand how treatments (herbicide and brushing) affect the use of sites by birds, including changes in species composition.  This research is an undergraduate thesis project being undertaken by May Law-England, under the supervision of Dr. Lisa Wood.
